Mortgage Nation Limited is Regulated and Authorised by the Financial Services Authority to conduct mortgage & general insurance business. We will provide you all the information you will need to be able to make an informed choice as to the product and the solution that suits your needs best. We do not give advice.

At our initial contact, we will need to complete a number of questions to ensure we are able to provide you with the information you need to make your informed choice. We will also confirm the details to you in writing in the form of a KFI (Key Facts Information letter). This explains all the issues and costs relating to your proposed mortgage. Please keep this for your own reference. The lender will also confirm the details to you in the formal mortgage offer.

We may receive fees from the lender with whom we place mortgages. Should we receive a fee we will tell you the amount. It is also our policy to charge you a fee on completion of the mortgage. This is for the time taken for administration, processing and submitting the application to the appropriate lender, ensuring the application is completed as quickly as possible. We will confirm the fee chargeable before you are committed to the mortgage.

Mortgage Nation Limited is registered under the Data Protection Act and as such we will treat all personal information as private and confidential (Even when you are no longer a customer) Exceptions are: Where the law requires us to do so or where disclosure is made at your request or with your consent in relation to arranging the mortgage.

The Financial Services Authority regulates our industry. As part of their duties we may be asked to provide them with access to our customer records in order for them to carry out audit activities. You have the right to inspect the documentation we hold in respect of our dealing with you. We will retain copies of your records to satisfy the regulatory requirements. These will be kept confidential in accordance with the Data Protection Act Regulations of 1998.

Our aim is to provide you with a first class transparent and professional service. Should a complaint arise, in the first instance you should contact our compliance officer at our office address. Your letter will be acknowledged within 5 working days.
